Remembering

16th Jul 2008

On July 14th a valued member of team, Joe Wishnoff passed away at the age of 29 after battling a disease called idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a chronic disease that causes scarring and deterioration of the lung tissue. IPF usually occurs in people aged 50-70 so it was very rare for someone in their mid-20s to be diagnosed. The cause of this disease is unknown and there are no known treatments or cure.

Joe had worked with us for approaching two years on various marketing efforts for both HostRocket and ViaTalk, and contributed greatly to each project he took on in the process. Joe was a hard worker and had a vast thirst for life. He was enthusiastic and energetic right till the end, always looking forward and not letting his illness get in the way of what he wanted to do with his life.

He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

If you would like to help find a cure for IPF, please consider making a donation in his memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, http://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/
