Something A Little Different.

27th Jun 2006

We are trying a new pricing schedule for the next few days, which will offer up to 6 months free to all new customers.  We have expanded our facilities and network such that we can now ramp up our growth to reach their capacity, hopefully this will aid in that process.  I will follow up with some results in a few days.

Doing E-911 The Right Way

24th Jun 2006

We are mentioned in a recent article in PCWorld Magazine as a VoIP provider that is actually making a full scale effort to provide FCC mandated E-911 services for our customers.

"Some Net phone companies play by the FCC's rules. SunRocket and ViaTalk, for example, sign up new customers only if they can give them E911 capabilities." - PC World Magazine, Thursday, June 22, 2006

Second Office

13th Jun 2006

As many of you know, the new office is coming together quite nicely. We have had several truck-loads of equipment and supplies steadily coming in the past week. The good news is that only a few will be burdened with back aches. People are assembling and arranging new desks and funiture as we speak!

Baby Sale Tonight 5pm - 7pm EST

6th Jun 2006

In order to give us a small spike in sales to test some modifications to our order management process, we are going to be running a sale tonight from 5pm-7pm similar to our large one we ran last month.  The main idea of the sale is buy 1 year get 1 year free, for our VT_Unlimited plan.  It won't be there long, so act quick!

New Addition to the Office

5th Jun 2006

ViaTalk is going to be receiving a visit from the stork in the next couple weeks.  We are excitedly awaiting the arrival of the newest members of the ViaTalk family....our baby Sugar Gliders!  Sugar Gliders are native to Australia, but have been exported for many years.  They are marsupials that are similar in size to our American flying squirrel (but much cuter). Their name comes from their affinity for sweet things like the sweet sap that leaks from wounds in trees.

We can't wait to receive our new baby boy and girl and will post pictures as soon as they arrive!  In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions for names...let us know!!!
