Halloween Costume Contest

To celebrate the Halloween season, HostRocket and Viatalk will be holding a Halloween Costume Contest. The entire staff will be participating and our wonderful customers will be the judges! Pictures of the costumes will be posted on VT_Inside and you can decide which costume deserves the title of "Best Halloween Costume of 2006."

A Delicious Dead Heat

Lunch gets brought to our office every day. In order to stifle inter-office squabbling over what to get each day, a voting system was devised by 'The Axe Murderer' to ensure that the foodstuffs deemed worthy by the masses is in fact what gets delivered to us. Cheese Steaks, Chili w/Corn Bread, and Pulled Pork finished in a 3 way tie, each pulling in 12% of the vote, followed closely by Zesty Beef & Cheese Enchiladas. Make your own taco day finished a distant 5th. Corn Chowder, Pigs in a Blanket, Potato Chip Chicken, Sausage & Peppers, and Taco Cassarole tied for last place with but a single vote each. Several dishes were in the middle of the pack. More updates to follow, including next weeks voting.

Two days at RPI

Thought I'd post a good snap shot from our booth at the NSBE/SHPE 28th Annual Career Fair at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY on September 29th and 30th. It was an excellent opportunity for us to speak with [and recruit from] the next group of RPI graduates. It was a great time and we appreciate the invite from RPI and the NSBE/SHPE. We will be back next year.

More Features On The Horizon

We have a batch of new features (and upgrades to current features) coming down the pipe soon. Several of these are ones that have been heavily requested for some time. This will also include the return of some features that have been sorely missed by our user community.

We've put another live server on the map today. A second South Central server is up and running. This will give our users even more reliability and is yet another step we've taken to expand our network and it's strength.
