A few new features have been added for customer use. First, the vmail system now has a new voice (and quite a fantastic new voice it is), replacing the previous screaming robot woman. Secondly, customers can now setup 'whitelists' which will allow certain numbers to get through no matter what settings are in place in the 'do not disturb' section of the control panel.

The other day I was sitting there staring at my voicemails thinking, there has to be an easier way to remove/move all these voicemails. Here's what I came up with:
While I was at it, the ability to create/remove folders has been added. Oh, and we also added support to poll all of your folders in the voicemail overview:
These features will be live this Monday ;).

HostRocket & ViaTalk will be attending (and have a booth at) HostingCon 2006 July 17th-19th at The Mirage in Las Vegas. While the main point of us being there is to cross promote our new ViaTalk agent program to other webhosts, we'd love to meet any and all customers who feel like stopping by, and we'll be giving out all sorts of VT related free stuff all day! The VT/HR crew will be hanging out in booth #405.

We are working on rolling out a few new features available by the end of July. Some of these features include:
Remote Dial In/Dial Out-Make phone calls through your Viatalk line from anywhere in the US.
Call Broadcast- Record a message from any phone. Viatalk calls a list of preset contacts and plays back your recorded message automatically when each person answers.
Speeddial- Set a list of number you frequently call, then press ** then a two digit code to quickly dial family and friends.
Call Alarm- Set a date and time to have your phone ring and the Viatalk system will automatically give you a wake up call at that time.
Most of these features will be included in a new remote menu which will be accessible at any time from any phone in the US. Be on the lookout for announcements when these features are made available throughout the next month.
